Bontex is a new steam-textured soy protein that has been introduced by Solbar. It can be ap­plied in a broad range of instant soups, ready and convenience meals, snacks and functional health foods. Bontex contains up to 0.4% soy isoflavones. Adding 50 grams of Bontex to an application provides a daily intake of 50 mg of isoflavones.
